OUR CLAYS:

LAGUNA B-MIX

A versatile and durable cream stoneware. This clay body is used for our installations, wall scapes and ornaments.

LAGUNA SPECKLED BUFF

A beautiful brown, natural looking stone ware. When fired black specks emerge creating a subtle contrast and texture. This clay is use for our installations, organic bowls and ornaments.

LAGUNA WS-4

A new clay body that we will be using for new releases and custom work. It’s a pretty white clay with hints and variations of grey.

OUR GLAZES:

SIGNATURE BLEND

A natural cream based color combined with beautiful tan, beige and brown variations, some sheen and subtle flux. This glaze has been formulated with both durability, forgivability and aesthetics in mind. It’s neutral yet unique. A timeless, customer favorite.

NIGHT SKY

Our sleek and sophisticated matte(ish) black.

CLASSIC WHITE

A tried and true satin white. You can’t go wrong with this classic white shade, fitting for any space, style or design.

RECYCLED SANDSTONE

A 100% recycled glaze base that has been tested, tweaked and formulated into an earthy beige with variation and neutral color specs. We’re pretty proud of this refined eco-friendly concoction. It’s sand at your feet, river stones and mountain landscapes.

PRODUCT INFORMATION + CARE:

ORGANIC BLATES

  • The bowls/blates are food safe and made with certified food safe, lead free glazes.

  • Please note this item has an unglazed finish may scratch surfaces.

  • While we work hard to ensure our pieces are uniform and consistent (if intended), that said, they are handmade and may vary slightly. We hope you embrace the handcrafted elements.

  • Allow for gradual temperature change as pottery can crack or break if transferred from the freezer to the oven.

  • Items can be placed in the dishwasher and microwave. That said, they are handcrafted and should be handled with care. Every now and then we recommend cleaning with Bar Keeper's Friend (and a little elbow grease). This will remove or minimize any stains or marks or wear or tear.

WALLSCAPES

  • I recommend hiring a professional to hang your ceramic art installation. CLAY + CRAFT is not responsible for the installation or any damage to the artwork while hanging or if improperly installed. 

  • Each Wallscape comes with screws including two extras. Screw them into your drywall leaving about 1/4” from the wall. I recommend using a drill. There are holes on the back of the pieces. Simply align and hang the pieces from the screws.

  • Please note items that have an unglazed finish may scratch surfaces.

  • The ceramic pieces can be dusted or cleaned with water and a sponge. 

  • These are intended for indoor use.

WALL HANGINGS

  • I recommend hiring a professional to hang your ceramic art installation. CLAY + CRAFT is not responsible for the installation or any damage to the artwork while hanging or if improperly installed. 

  • Please note, items that have an unglazed finish may scratch surfaces.

  • Each installation comes with a wood wall hook, screw and anchor. The anchor is required to support the wall hanging if installing into drywall. The installer can use a drill bit to pre-drill a hole. Then, install the anchor into the hole. When you unbox the ceramic pieces, please handle them with care. When unboxing, we’ve made it easy to find the loop to hang the artwork. I recommend hanging up the piece with the packaging wrap on the pieces and then taking the paper off once hung. Once hung, unwrap the pieces and adjust to angle and arrange.

  • The ceramic pieces can be dusted or cleaned with water and a sponge. 

  • These are intended for indoor use. They can be placed in outdoors spaces but it may decrease the durability and longevity.

INSTALLATIONS

  • Each installation comes with a metal hook. The hook must be installed into a stud or beam. The installer can use a drill bit to pre-drill a hole. Then, screw the hook or anchor into the hole. When you unbox the ceramic pieces, please handle them with care. When unboxing, we’ve made it easy to find the loop to hang the artwork. I recommend hanging up the piece with the packaging wrap on the pieces and then taking the paper off once hung. Once hung, unwrap the pieces and adjust to angle and arrange.

RETURNS / EXCHANGES:

  • All sales are final.

  • If you are unhappy with your order please email nicole@clayandcraft.com with 15 days.

  • In the rare event that your item arrives damaged, please email nicole@clayandcraft.com immediately and within 15 days. Please provide images (this is required by the USPS in order to file a claim in an attempt to recoup the loss). We will issue a refund or send a replacement.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

  • All orders are insured and shipped USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 2-4 business days for us to process and fulfill your order. Once your order is fulfilled and shipped, it will take approximately 2-5 business days to be delivered based on the destination.

  • In the rare event that your item arrives damaged, please email nicole@clayandcraft.com immediately and within 15 days. Please provide images (this is required by the USPS in order to file a claim in an attempt to recoup the loss). We will issue a refund or send a replacement.

  • We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.

  • At this time we do NOT ship internationally. US only.

  • We use eco friendly packing paper and biodegradable packing peanuts.

  • Gift cards purchased prior to October 2022 can be redeemed for studio experiences at The Mudd House. Or, can be used at clayandcraft.com. To redeem, email nicole@clayandcraft.com.
